Pacific Gas and Electric Company   Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Through a three-year partnership, PG&E is helping us prepare one million Bay Area residents for disasters through Prepare Bay Area, an aggressive outreach and public awareness initiative. With a special emphasis on reaching the most vulnerable populations, the goal is to motivate at least one person per household to take preparedness action: 1) Make a plan, 2) Build a kit, and 3) Be Informed. PG&E also supports its employees' interest in the Red Cross by matching gifts through their annual Campaign for the Community.

United Way of the Bay Area   United Way of the Bay Area
Every year, through contributions from their annual campaign, UWBA makes a significant grant to support making communities in the Bay Area safer. Funding is used to provide resources for American Red Cross staff and volunteers to train Bay Area residents in disaster preparedness. An emphasis is placed on concentrated outreach and training for vulnerable populations such as non-English speaking, youth, and the elderly. This year, a portion of the grant will also be used for Prepare Bay Area.

Catholic Healthcare West   Catholic Healthcare West
We welcome CHW as a new partner this year! CHW has provided a generous grant for the Prepare Bay Area campaign in addition to earmarking funds for targeted disaster preparedness outreach to youth and the elderly. Through the Youth for Chinese Elderly program, Asian youth adopt seniors and teach them the essentials of disaster preparedness in Cantonese, Mandarin or Tagalog.

The Clorox Company   The Clorox Company
Clorox has been supporting the local, national and international disaster relief work of the American Red Cross for generations through financial and product donations. As part of a new, exciting national cause marketing partnership, Clorox and the Bay Area Chapter will work together to promote local disaster preparedness efforts. For more information, please visit www.clorox.com/redcross. Clorox employees also have their donations to the Red Cross matched each year through their annual employee giving campaign.

Through its National Red Cross relationship, Grainger selected 16 markets to pilot a new corporate volunteer program, Ready When the Time Comes. Oracle is also the launch partner for the new Red Cross corporate volunteer program, Ready When the Time Comes. Through this program, a corps of corporate volunteers will be trained in Red Cross emergency response functions so they are ready to respond when disaster strikes. In addition, Oracle has also been a CPR Preparedness Saturday sponsor for six consecutive years.

ProLogis   ProLogis
As a direct response to the ProLogis challenge grant at the 2007 Paint the Town Red Gala, the "Fund-A-Need" portion of the live auction raised an unprecedented $72,150 for local Red Cross programs, making this year's auction our most successful ever.
