American Red Cross Full Service Training programs are ideal if your company or organization wants customized, convenient health and safety training. We bring these trainings to your location at a time that is convenient to you and your employees.
The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter offers First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) courses specifically designed for the workplace. These courses can help your workplace meet OSHA requirements. They are proven to minimize workplace emergencies by providing your employees with the confidence to respond.
- Intensive Child Care courses are also offered for Child Care Providers who need training under Title 22, Division 9, Chapter 1 of the California Government Code. Our professional instructors are available to come to your site seven days a week.
The minimum billing amount for on-site training is for eight people. If you need to stick to a tighter budget, have your group attend our chapter-based classes. If your group needs first aid and safety training on a regular basis, you may also consider becoming an authorized provider. As an authorized provider, you can designate your own Red Cross certified instructor who can conduct trainings whenever your organization needs them. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the U.S. and claims approximately 350,000 lives each year. When SCA strikes, seconds mean the difference between life and death. - What is the minimum number of people required for workplace training?
On-site training requires a group of eight or more people. We can set up a class for less than eight but the minimum charge is for eight students.
- What prices and courses are offered?

- When can the class be scheduled?
Our professional instructors are available to come to your site seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We need approximately three weeks notice before the date you would like the class.
- What is needed to prepare your training site?
Provide a TV/DVD with functional remote control to be set up in the front of the training room; Arrange for a conference room, or other quiet area conducive to learning, which should be at least 600 square feet (approximately the size of a three-car garage) per eight students; The room should consist of two separate areas, table and chairs for the classroom, and floor space for the skills practice.
